This Recruitment Privacy Policy tells you how and why Scrums.com and its affiliates and subsidiaries practices for collecting, storing and processing your Personal Data as part of the recruitment process. We do update this Policy from time to time so please do review this Policy regularly.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?
We may collect the following Personal Data from you when you apply for a position:

- Career-related information such as resume/CV, employment history, academic and professional qualifications, salary and salary expectation;

- Demographic Information such as racial or ethnic origin for government reported statistics when permitted by law or with your consent.

- Information from recruitment agencies that you have asked to support you in finding a job;
- Information provided by our team members who have referred you for a job.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The collected data will be used solely for the recruiting process. The purposes for which we may process the collected data are the following:
- to consider your application in respect of a role for which you have applied and other roles and opportunities;
- to assess the qualifications and skills needed in respect of your job application and potential future job opportunities;
- to communicate with you in respect of the recruitment process;
- to fulfil legal regulations.
You may request for the correction and update of your data at any time, deny your previous consent for the processing of your data, restrict the processing on its object, request for your data in structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, request for the deleting of your data or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You acknowledge that all personal information processed by us may be stored by us and used for any of the purposes listed.
SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
As part of the recruitment process we may disclose your Personal Data in the following circumstances:
- The access to your personal records is limited to the Scrums.com / Scrums.com team who participate in the selection process.
- By submitting your application, you consent to us sharing your Personal Data with our clients for the purpose of securing a placement. This includes transmitting your details to potential employers or clients as part of the recruitment and placement process.
Personal Data may be shared under the following circumstances:
- Internally with the team who require the information to administer and manage the recruitment process;
- To third-party service providers which process Personal Data on our behalf to provide certain services, such as background checks;
- To third-parties who are or might become our clients, for the purpose of facilitating your placement.
- We may share your Personal Data if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with valid legal process or protect the rights, property, or safety, of Scrums.com, our employees, or users;

DATA RETENTION
Your Personal Data will be retained until the end of the employment application process plus a reasonable period thereafter.
If your job application is successful and you accept a position, the Personal Data collected during the recruitment process will be added to your human resources file and retained for the duration of your employment.
YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT
You may access, correct, restrict or delete your Personal Data at any time. You may also withdraw your consent, or object to the processing of your Personal Data when based on our legitimate interests. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We regularly review and, if appropriate, update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and as our services and use of personal information evolves. If we want to make use of your personal information in a way that we have not previously identified, we will contact you to provide information about this and, if necessary, to ask for your consent.
